Jimmy Choo has always been one of the most luxurious brands, and one of my favourite. I still remember the day I bought my first pair of Choo sandals, in Via dei Condotti, Rome. They still sit on a place of honour in my dressing room, and even though many other pairs came to keep them company I am somehow under the impression that they are not enough. And I know why – Ms. Choi creates exquisite models over and over again – ostrich feathers, webbed sandals and satin mules for Resort 2016. Ladies, before you the best of Jimmy Choo Resort 2016.

British designer, Simon Holloway and former creative director of Jimmy Choo, have created a capsule collection for the brand Hogan, for Fall/Winter 2014-2015. This is not the first collaboration of Simon Holloway : before he collaborated with Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez and Ralph Lauren. The collection features not only clothing and outerwear but also footwear – dresses with print, chasmere jackets, outfits with masculine cut and leather boots. Inspired by the neo-romanticism of the 70’s, the capsule collection presents two pairs of boots in smoky gray and maroon wine and two other pairs with psychedelic prints realised by illustrator Julie Verhoeven. The talented artist has previously worked with Versace, Mulberry and Lancôme, and her illustrations are perfectly combined with fashionable silhouettes. This is Hogan’s vision of easy luxury for every occasion – romantic mood.
The decision to head to the Jimmy Choo boutique for a pair of shoes for your wedding seems clear and logical – if pumps and sandals of this brand reign on the red carpet, then on the way to the altar they will be more than appropriate. This spring in the stores there will be an extensive collection of footwear and accessories especially for brides in snow white, ivory and champagne for the clutches – also ornate with sequins, crystals and special sewings – as well as for the shoes. The Jimmy Choo designers thought about everything when creating this bridal collection – it suits a short fluffy wedding dress, a lace with a train dress or a satin with embroidery one.
The comfortable and beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes – also an important argument in the selection – can be worn for the big day but also for a party after that, an anniversary, or just out for a fancy dinner – the satin shoes or ivory sandals can come in handy more than once. Make your pick!

He is very creative but he is decisive and methodical in his direction. It was fun to shoot new and surprising perspectives. It felt a little bit daring.
