He was a genius and a profound influencer of the entire fashion world; he lived in a both tortured and mystic world; he surrounded himself by beauty and he received four times the British Fashion Awards – “British Designer of the Year”; he was controversial and his edgy couture expressed that very well; he was a superstar in fashion and his evocative shows gave him that title. And because he was ALL that, a much-anticipated movie regarding his life, before committing suicide in 2010 at only 40 years old, is about to come out in U.S. theaters on July 13. Until then, before you the trailer of Alexander McQueen‘s documentary, directed by Ian Bonhôte, simply titled “McQueen“.

We have THE social media star on the cover of Vogue India, March 2018 Issue, Kim Kardashian. Having her first interview ever for Vogue India, dressed up for the occasion by Jean Paul Gaultier, Philipp Plein, Anita Dongre and more, when asked how she managed to build an empire by starting off as a stylist and if she ever thought her career would unfold thid way, Kim said: “No, I didn’t actually. I thought I was just going to run my clothing store. I didn’t think [the show] would go beyond season 1 or 2. And then as things were happening, my mom and I were so excited. We didn’t even know what we were starting, but we knew we were in it together. We definitely made so many mistakes. At first, we would be involved in anything. But it helped us work our way up to now, to launching a beauty brand completely by myself, and funding it all.” Have a taste of the interview here.

The British music industry has nominated its winners last night, 21st February 2018, at the O2 Arena in London. Here’s who was present at the BRIT Awards 2018 and what the stars wore on the red carpet.
Despite the low temperatures in the capital of England, the biggest names in the world music industry have appeared on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards 2018 in gorgeous outfits.
Rita Ora, one of the artists who stepped on the stage to sing, turned all eyes on her red carpet in a strapless dress. Ellie Goulding was a very hot appearance in a short-sleeved long dress, and Dua Lipa, who entered the gala history as the most nominated artist at the BRIT Awards, five in number, wore a pale pink dress with a grandiose train.
It seems that the music industry has its own way of protesting against sexual harassment and gender inequality. While the movie industry stars chose to wear all black to attract attention to sexual harassment and promote gender equality at work, the musicians chose the white rose and the Time’s Up badge to show their support and solidarity. This happened a few weeks ago at the Grammy Awards 2018, and last night at the BRIT Awards 2018.
The 90’s are famous for the appearance of supermodels, these extremely beautiful creatures that have emerged as if to bring an ode to absolute femininity, sensuality, to the magnetic perfection and beauty of human body, and I mean these beauty icons like Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. Cindy, now at 51 years-young, was one of Gianni Versace‘s favourite models in the 1990. InStyle March 2018 issue has the supermodel talk about the power of Gianni and ‘That’ moment that changed everything in fashion.
“Versace celebrated powerful women but also beautiful and sexy women who are unapologetic about not being a victim,” said the brunette beauty.
“With the generation before us, there were show girls, and there were print girls, and very few did both. Gianni was the first to say, ‘I want the women in my campaign to also be on the runway.’ It was palpable that something had shifted.” – Crawford says.
“Gianni loved women and wanted them to feel beautiful in the clothes. Donatella was probably his first muse. She was always around, helping choose what we would wear and what she thought was important to him.” – Cindy remembers.
Gianni’s sister, Donatella Versace says: “I was the one who pushed Gianni to do things his own way, to break the rules. I had to put on a mask. I had to be strong for me, for my children, for all the people who worked at Versace. I admit I was very insecure for a long time, but today no more. Maybe it was the tribute collection that finally freed me of the burden I had and made me see the light, but I can say I feel liberated from the demons of the past. I am stronger and more focused.”

Beautiful model and actress, Laura Harrier, is the chosen one for the InStyle March 2018 issue. Making her major film debut portraying Liz from Spider-Man: Homecoming, she is Hollywood’s latest fashion darling.
“I’ve always loved dressing up. Style is not a formula for me—it’s instinctual. I know right away if I like something or not” – Harrier tells InStyle
“I’m drawn to roles that address social issues and injustices in the world. I think those of us with a platform have a duty to talk about all the fucked-up stuff that’s going on,” she says. “I would feel really uncomfortable watching things go by and just posting pretty selfies. I feel very fortunate to be acting at a time when women and minorities are getting more of a voice. We’re in the middle of a moment where barriers are starting to be broken down. But I just want them to be smashed all the way.”
