The oddest couple of the music industry, Lady Gaga ( 28 ) and Tony Bennet ( 88 ) are the special stars of the Christmas campaign of Swedish giant, H & M. Is there a better way to celebrate Christmas than beside this fantastic duo?
H & M knows the magic this timeless and eclectic couple emanates and, for this reason, the singers were selected to be the faces of the campaign, a campaign whose theme is “ It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)”.
November 25 is the date chosen for the official release of the complete ad version on hm.com. Meanwhile here is a sneak peek of the shooting, for the impatience fans all over the world. – Gaga – transformed in a young Cher, in a huge black curly wig and an oversized jumper from H&M winter collection; and Tony – 17 times Grammy winner wears a sharp elegant black tuxedo of the brand, with a bright red pocket as a colour accent.
Speaking about the shoot, director Johan Renck said: “We were inspired by the glitz, glamour, and opulence of the 1940’s Big Band era.The mood is one of festive celebration shot through with a strong sense of fashion and an underlying humour. It is intriguing, curious, exuberant, audacious, and filled with wonder.”
During the holiday season H & M will raise funds for CARE, a humanitarian organization that aims to help women and girls with few resources to end the world poverty. H & M will sell an exclusive package of gift tags in its stores, and for every sold package H & M Conscious Foundation will donate double the selling price to CARE.
