Emma Ferrer, she is the granddaughter of the iconic beauty Audrey Hepburn, and Harper’s Bazaar US cover star for the September 2014 issue. Photographed by Michael Avedon in Florence – her very first shot ever – Emma says to WWD : “Initially, I wasn’t sure. Glenda [Bailey, editor in chief] contacted my father with the idea and explained that Michael Avedon would be the photographer. So understanding that there was this parallel narrative, I was able to approach it as this very meaningful experience.

About her super famous grandmother :  “I remember seeing a photo of her jumping on a trampoline—I believe this was before I understood that she was famous. But I remember thinking that she looked like a friend I wish I could have had.”
