For its newest women’s fragrance, Cartier took inspiration from the panther – an iconic symbol of the house – a symbol of beauty, freedom and elegance – a source of inspiration for Cartier perfumers since 1980s. Today, 100 years since the symbol first appeared in Cartier’s jewellery, the house celebrates with the release of the eponymous fragrance – La Panthère – a floral fragrance, gardenia based, with a feline character.
The new product is unique not only for the flavour but also for the bottle in which it is enclosed, for it features an inner layer, within transparent glass, that reveals a cubist panther’s head. The line has more products, a bathing series, consisting of shower gel, body cream and deodorant – available from March 2014. Go wild!
Erin Wasson has been chosen as the face of La Panthère, appearing in a campaign shot by legendary Peter Lindbergh.
