It is almost a year since H & M launched their program of recycled clothing collection and they managed to collect 7.7 million pounds of used clothes so far. The purpouse is to eliminate waste and the impact on the environment from the manufacturing process. The Swedish retailer’s collection – H&M Recycled Denim Capsule – includes five pieces, both for women and men and will go on sale to the public starting February.
“We are working increasingly with recycled materials, and as a designer, it is very important to create pieces taking into account the latest trends, but also technical developments in this field. We are proud to offer environmentally friendly products, in which our clients and we believe,” said H&M designer Jon Loman.
