Expected to hit stores April 2014, the new Kate Moss for Topshop collection will be the third collaborative effort between the supermodel and the British high street brand.
Three and a half years after her last collection with the British brand, Kate Moss and Topshop are set to collaborate once more on a capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2014. It’s an opportunity for the model and the London-based label to celebrate British fashion once again and reaffirm Kate’s legendary fashion status. The idea to re-launch the project was the brainwave of Sir Philip Green, CEO of the Arcadia Group which owns Topshopand of course Kate Moss herself, who admitted she was nostalgic for the previous 2007 and 2010 collections this summer. Since its first collection with the model, the brand has known unprecedented success, making a name for itself as the only high street brand with a spot on the officialLondon Fashion Week schedule, as well as announcing a permanent Paris point of sale which will open in Galeries Lafayette in mid-October. With biker jackets, black skinny jeans, leopard and liberty print, the previous collaborations were sell-out successes with designs inspired by the contents of the model’s iconic personal wardrobe. Accompanied by experts Kate Phelan – creative director of Topshop and contributing fashion editor at British Vogue – and stylistKaty England, Kate‘s work is already underway, with the release of the collection and a campaign across all platforms expected April 2014. The new collection will be available in 40 countries, in Topshop boutiques as well as concessions and on the brand’s e-shop. The collaboration will also be the first ever Kate Moss collection available in Paris, find it in the brand’s new concession in Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
