As suspected the Brazilian super model, Gisele Bundchen, did not make any official statement concerning the catwalk retirement, and her agency, IMG, told WWD : “The truth of the matter is that we still have a very strong relationship with several international brands for which Gisele may have to do shows – special projects – in the future. It’s true that she doesn’t do fashion week; she doesn’t do 17 shows in all three cities, and she’s not going to start. But that’s not to say that she might not work on a special project in the future. The word retirement is a little bit of an extreme word.”
So, the Colcci show, which will be held next month during Sao Paolo Fashion Week, will showcase the gorgeous super model, and this won’t be the last time we will see her in action.
A new collection of accessories came to life in the workshops of the French fashion house, Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton Mask Collection – in ethnic style, including shoes, handbags, jewelry, wallets and key rings.
The Mask Capsule Collection honours the African masks collected by Gaston Louis Vuitton, the grandson of the founder of the brand, an avid traveler and collector, fascinated by the 30’s African art.
For the indigenous people of Africa masks have been associated with death and the otherworldly forces, and artists all over the world became huge fans of the accessory, like great Picasso himself. The new Louis Vuitton mini collection is indeed a work of art. Simply beautiful!
Victoria Beckham has created for her eponymous brand a line of aviator sunglasses with dazzling lenses in bright colors.
Victoria Beckham decided not to reinvent the wheel but just to rethink the Classic Victoria Aviator model, where the focus is on innovation, slightly futuristic design details and bold colors. For Fall/Winter she came up with a capsule collection of sunglasses, including two lines – one line in bold, saturated color lenses inspired by the exotic nature: a poisonous green cactus, a blood-red sunset, a wild moss, a pink desert at sunset and yellow dunes in the afternoon – in the other line, the shades of lenses are not as aggressive and the main focus has shifted to an unusual item, a thin leather arc in black, soft pink, sky blue or marsh colour. Their lenses, developed by the brand Zeiss – one of the most experienced manufactures of lenses in the world, already existing on the market since the XIX century – come with exclusive anti-reflective coating and 100% UV protection. So, this accessory not only effectively complements the fashionable image, but is also protecting your eyes against harmful interference.
All of the sunglasses are available on Victoria Beckham official site, with prices range between €420.00 and €525.00. For those more eccentric there are two beautiful models in 18ct gold and platinum.
Top model Jourdan Dunn, 24-year-old, decided to combine her experience as a model and a mother – she is a single parent to five-year-old sun Riley – and design a children and young adult line. She partnered with British licensing agency Fluid World, a collaboration which will result in at least two collections, for the moment, featuring jeans, T-shirts, jumpers and accessories.
“I love kid’s clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born,” Dunn explained. “Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son, Riley. I am thrilled to be working with Fluid World, and I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.”
“Jourdan Dunn is a fashion icon who sets trends and influences style,” Andrew Lane, CEO of Fluid World, added. “I am delighted to be working with her on this exciting project and bringing her cool urban style to a wider audience.“
The new MAC collection of lipsticks leaves no room to interpretations – the main thing you should emphasize in the spring makeup are the LIPS. Designers and makeup artists made it clear that this season promises to be bright, in terms of lips, and bright burgundy, purple or black remain the constant “must have” for a fatal look.
The new line is expected to be available on the official website of the brand starting April, and includes a range of twelve shades of lipsticks, all of them being tone in tone with the lip pencils. Check it out below!
Nature plays an important role for Dolce & GabbanaSpring/Summer collection – floral motifs got a very special attention from the two designers, embroidered red roses blossomed on the bags and dresses, models’ hair was adorned with fresh flowers – a hibernation which came to an end, reflected also in the line of accessories of the Italian brand.
The limited edition collection of sunglasses, embellished with rich and precious crystal insects and flowers – all applications in Swarovski crystals, set in frame one by one – showcases three models, with acetate frame, grey gradient lenses, and fabulous colours. An enchanted forest where small enchanted creatures lie on romantic flowers.
No less important is the exclusive packaging consisting of an elegant case in black velvet and a luxury matching box. So luxurious!
According to a Brazilian publication, the Colcci show at Fashion Week in Sao Paulo could be the super model’s last meeting with the catwalk – 20 years on the catwalk, over 100 advertising campaigns, and highest paid model for almost a decade – these are the mad figures Gisele could say goodbye to.
According to the Brazilian newspaper, Moda Estadao, the top would have in mind to formally abandon the world of fashion during the month of April. The next show of Colcci – in the context of the Fashion Week in Sao Paulo – would be the last race of the model. Gisele has been the image of the brand and participated in its shows on numerous occasions, such as when she first reappeared for the first time after the birth of her first son (Benjamin) in 2010. Many may identify Bündchen with Victoria’s Secret or any of the over 100 campaigns she starred, but the truth is that the model, Brazilian origin (and German heritage), began her career on the catwalk – an unrecognisable 19 years old Gisele, with brown hair and skinny figure. There was no show then could hold her, but then came the contract with the lingerie firm and changed everything, and Gisele put aside the busy world of the parades and changed it to travel across the planet earth, changed it for her work as a mother and wife – the main reason, apparently, that has driven the model to abandon this world – and changed it for the hundreds of advertising contracts.
The new Fendi sunglasses model, first presented on the catwalk last September at Milan Fashion Week, is now on the shelves of Fendi boutiques. The leitmotif of the Spring/Summer 2015 collection is the orchid – this explains the geometric shape of the frame ( handmade ), and the colours of the lenses. The line has four colour combinations : transparent black, khaki and pink, beige with purple, and turquoise combined with white. A must have for the fashionistas worldwide.

Bulgari‘s accessories line for Fall/Winter 2015 comes from the long history – a 130 years long – and the rich heritage of Bulgari’s brand. They got the inspiration from their previous collections of jewellery, the Serpenti ( snake ) line – one of the most iconic signature of the brand. From Serpenti they created a very successful line of bags , a couple of years ago, giving the brand a lot of satisfactions worldwide.
The accessories collection has a very recognizable shape, that well represents the Italian house, and the snake-head-shaped jewel closure is pretty special, made with the craftsmanship of Bulgari jewellery – unique pieces of jewellery designed back in the 60s, which in turn have been inspired by the ancient Roman snake-shaped jewellery, dated I century A.C. – a clear sign of the link between Bulgari and Roman history, clearly present in all Bulgari’s jewellery.
Since the times of ancient Egypt, the snake has been adopted as a precious ornament by beautiful women such as Cleopatra, who more than any other personifies strength and seduction. A symbol of wisdom, femininity and eternal renewal, the snake lives in Bulgari‘s creations, embodying since 1940 a never-ending evolution of style. Before you our selection of Bulgari’s best accessories for F/W 2015!
L’Officiel Mexico celebrates its first anniversary issue in French style, having 40 years old Caroline de Maigret on the cover for their special March 2015 issue. What’s so fascinating Caroline de Maigret? She is more than a model. She is an activist, intellectual and musical producer. She is an inspiration and a real muse, and Lancôme knows it. Caroline is the quintessential example of the Parisian woman, one that is free, has a different concept of what femininity is, and every morning when she takes on her beauty routine she thinks about each element in order to always show an “au natural” look – a little concealer, mascara to accentuate the eyes, and lips that can remain colorless or can be emphasised with a perfect red lipstick, depending on the mood. Check out her style in designer looks from the likes of Chanel ( on the cover ), Prada, Ferragamo and Calvin KleinJeans.
Dior Technologic – “Modern, dynamic and real” – this is how Raf Simons described his Spring/Summer 2015 collection for Dior – in terms of sunglasses, they come in a classic but futuristic frame, in metal, comfortable and with remarkably flat mirrored lenses. In addition to the classic black model there are two other alternatives presented in gold and silver. These sunglasses clearly have a chance to win in the fight for a place under the summer sun. Simply beautiful!
